“And you have made them a kingdom, a royal race and priests to our God and they shall reign as kings over the earth” (Rev. 5:10). God created man purposely to reign on the earth. He was not created to be dominated over. Genesis 1:28 tells how God blessed man and said to them to be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth. They were to subdue the earth and have dominion over every living thing on earth. Man was created to have dominion over sickness, shame, lack, poverty and anything that tries to subdue him. We must therefore walk in accordance with what we are created for. Actually, all other things God created live according to what they were created for. The sun was created to shine and it shines. The moon was to come out during the night and it does. Trees were created to bear fruits and they do. Apple tree does not make a mistake of producing orange fruits but only apples. An orange tree does not produce pawpaw fruit but only oranges. Everything God created obeys the laws for which they were created. I decree therefore over your life that you will live according to what you were created for.
The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof (the people that dwell in it). So upon this earth you should stand tall. Nothing should shake you because you are created to have dominion. We must therefore act to be seen and not beg to be seen. “By their appearance you shall know them”. As a person supposed to have dominion, I must not be mistaken to be a loser. When they see me they should see somebody who is in charge and not intimidated by the status of another person. Also when they see me they must acknowledge me because I am walking in dominion. I should not be confused with a person who is timid and a coward. I must take the boldness to declare the counsel of the Lord; the God that declares the end from the beginning. I should be seen as someone who stands in assurance and confidence that where I am today is not where I will be tomorrow. Where I am today is a function that is more than where I was yesterday. In other words, the path of the righteous is a light that shines brighter. Where I was yesterday was bright, where I am today is brighter and where I will be tomorrow will be most bright (your tomorrow must be brighter than today) because you are created to have dominion. The path of the righteous is like the morning sun shining ever brighter till the full light of day (Proverbs 4:18). The longer you live the brighter you shine. When young you will shine. When at old age you will shine and still bear fruits. We must not fear if a little delay comes our way. When you fear, you do not know who you are. The song writer says “I am walking in power, I am walking in miracles, I live my life on favour because I know who I am”.
To live in dominion there are three things you need to know on the human body. The first is the tongue, the second is the hands and the third is the feet. All these have special marks that make them unique. Be careful what you say or what you touch or where your feet take you to. To have dominion we must watch what we use our tongue to do. The world was created with the power of words therefore what we say can be powerful and creative but also destructive. You can create for yourself with your mouth what you want your future to be. You can create for yourself the sort of life you want to live. You can also reject with your mouth what you do not want in your life. What you say carries weight. If you say you are dead then you are dead! If you say it is well, it shall be well. Life and death is in the power of the tongue. Watch therefore what you say. By the words of your mouth you are justified or condemned (Matthew 20:27). You have the power to speak to yourself every day. Command the riches of the day to run to you, the good of the day to gather to you and take charge of the blessing of the day. Delete yourself from the curses of the day. Everyday has its good and bad things. When you cry or rejoice at the end of the day is a factor of the prophecy you give yourself at the beginning of the day. You have the right to command the blessing of the day to yourself. Do not allow the pressures of the previous day to be carried over to the next day else you lose the good things for that day. The bible says “this is the day the Lord has made and I will be rejoice and be glad in it”. Align yourself with the prophecy of scripture and depend on it. Say for example: I will never be poor, because since I was young and now I am old, I have never seen the righteous and his seed begging for bread. Speak to sickness: I wish above all things that I may prosper. Nothing can be done against the truth. We can only support the truth. Speak therefore to your future and it shall be done. Whatever God has not done today, He shall do it tomorrow when your appointed time comes. Speak the future you want to see according to what God reveals to us in the scriptures. How forcible are the right words. Words have force to create what you want to see. Take dominion and rule the earth.
